#Tasks

  • Establish effective project management processes connecting business users, application developers and platform developers.
  • Gain trust of all interface SPOCs by engaging with the part of the business they represent, understanding their drivers, and finding creative ways to create common approaches to help everyone achieve their goals to the maximum extent possible.
  • Develop and socialize a shared understanding of business needs and their relation to technical delivery plans with regards to sequence, scope, effort & timelines.
  • Develop effective and efficient reporting measures to allow for continuous management of the end-to-end program.
  • Flag risks to achieve aligned plans in a timely manner and coordinate efforts to mitigate these risks, including - where required - escalation processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improved delivery, e.g. by removing redundant efforts leading to additional cost and complexity.
  • Support Program leadership to provide transparency across all elements of the initiative to Elia's C-Level, e.g. by preparing Steerco meetings and aligning content with key stakeholders.
  • Develop an Issue Management Process, allowing to resolve cross-functional delivery issues in an effective and transparent way.

#Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT project management, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Familiarity with IT Solutions in the Energy Sector (e.g., SCADA, EMS/DMS).
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • In-depth experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) or Lean principles, especially in the context of IT and energy sector projects.
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of motivating teams, setting clear goals, and fostering collaboration.
  • Ability to identify issues and obstacles quickly and come up with practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle

#must-have

  • Language: Professional fluency in both German and English (C1)
  • Energy Industries experience
  • Min. 5 Years experience in managing complex projects with IT involvement
