Projectdescription:
Control discharge pressure of compressors to optimise the heating/cooling process. Settings are based on compressor measurements and energy prizes. Data processing on Azure Databricks and writeback via API on the edge device.

Tasks:

  • Refactor an experiment notebook into a maintainable Databricks pipeline
  • Enable the Databricks pipeline to interact with the writeback API of the edge device
  • Generalize the pipeline from the prototype plant to further customers

Must have:

  • Experience with IoT data and process automation
  • Proficiency in Python and Terraform
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, IoT-Hub and DevOps
  • Experience with machine learning
  • Experience with production implementation of similar IoT cases for mechanical engineering
  • Engineering background or experience with heating/cooling machines like compressors
  • Experience with API design
