For our client from the chemical plant engineering field we are looking for Construction Manager - Steel (f/m/d) from June 2025.

Location: Portugal (Onsite)
Language: Business fluent in German, English and Portuguese.
Contract: Freelance
Tasks:
- Communication with client, within CAC Team and with the Contractors
- Supervision, Coordination and Organisation of all Civil and Structural Steel works according to the contractual duties during all phases of the project Preparation
- Leading and Follow-up of weekly progress meetings Time and Cost controlling
- Implementation of the HSE and safety regulations towards the Contractors
- Implementation and documentation of the quality requirements till end of the project
- Special tasks in agreement with the Site Manager
Qualifications:
- Skilled Worker, Bachelor, graduated engineer or a comparable qualification, preferred in civil engineering or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience in engineering and execution of international projects in the chemical industry, minimum 5 years relevant experience as Superintendent
- Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications
- Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting
- Health Harmlessness for site activities
- Role Model towards communication, safety and behaviour, Team focus
- Good command of software applications (MS Office, 3-D-Software)
- Business Command of both verbal and written German, English and Portuguese language
